About Us
Euro Tile and Stone was founded in 2010 with the goal of developing strong relationships with local general contractors and, in turn, providing them with quality tile and stone installation services. For more than six years, Michael Roman, Giuseppe Alfano, Luigi Alfano and Vincenzo Alfano have turned that goal into a reality and turned Euro Tile and Stone into a leader amongst its peers and preferred partner amongst general contractors in the Capital Region.
One of the greatest assets that Euro Tile and Stone has are its diverse owners who have the ability to monitor the day-to-day operations both in the field and in the office, allowing projects to stay on-time and on-budget. Michael, Giuseppe, Luigi and Vincenzo combine their knowledge and experience in the industry with a team of expert bricklayers and craftworkers whose dedication to the job and superb craftsmanship is seen within each and every project that they touch.
Our Team
Michael A. Roman
Michael A. Roman graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Architecture Degree. He has been an active part of the construction industry for over ten years. Prior to starting his own architectural and marketing firm, C2 Design Group, Michael worked with Anthony Mion and Son Tile and Marble, where his father was shareholder and Owner until his retirement. Due to his father’s role at Mion and Son, Michael was exposed to the trade at a young age, and learned the ins-and-outs of being an expert craftsman. Michael’s knowledge of and dedication to running a successful business is evident in any business or client relationship that Euro Tile and Stone acquires, and provides his clients with a strong level of trust and reassurance in his, and the company's, day-to-day work.
Luigi Alfano
Luigi Alfano received an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice in 1998 and upon graduating joined the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local #2 Union, and has remained there for the last eleven years. Luigi attended the International Masonry Institute, receiving the title of Certified Instructor in the tile trade. He has also received OSHA 10 certification to assure that all Euro workers are consistently in a safe environment. In addition to his daily responsibilities at Euro Tile and Stone, Luigi currently holds a position on the election committee board with Local #2 Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers.
Giuseppe Alfano
Giuseppe Alfano has been working in the tile industry for more than a decade. His experience in and knowledge of the industry is evident in the quality of his work and the strength of his relationships. Upon graduating with an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice in 1999, he joined the Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local #2 Union. In 2000, just a year into formal training, Giuseppe was recognized by the Local #2 Union as the youngest foreman in the group. His tremendous work ethic and attention to detail make him an incredible asset to to both the company and the clients we work with.
Vincenzo Alfano
Vincenzo Alfano started working in the tile industry at the age of 16 and has since been dedicated to his professional advancement and perfecting his trade. Growing up he watched his brothers make a name for themselves within the tile industry, and thus shares their unparalleled work ethic and knowledge of the industry. Vincenzo received an associates degree from Hudson Valley Community College in 2008. He has been working in the tile industry for over 10 years which is most evident in his attention to detail and expert craftsmen ship. As a co-owner of Euro Tile and Stone he oversees many projects and is well respected by the professionals he has worked with.
